This 2024, the Ohio-born quartet celebrates their 20th anniversary with 20 Years of Tears Tour! Leave it to Hawthorne Heights to deliver 2024’s biggest post-hardcore and alternative tour! Celebrating their 20th year anniversary with over 50 shows, the band sets out on the Twenty Years of Tears. This outing is slated to bring their impressive catalog centerstage. Since breaking out in 2004 with their gold-selling debut album, The Silence in Black and White, the band has become a staple among emo rock lovers. They're considered one of the most sensational commercial successes to come out of the emo-pop punk scene.
The band has belted out some of the most iconic rock singles, including their gold debut single “Ohio Is For Lovers,” “Nikki FM,” and their Top 10 Alternative charting song, “Saying Sorry.” After their incredible breakout, the band followed it up with a brilliant sophomore effort, If Only You Were Lonely. The album topped the Indie charts and reached number 3 on the mainstream chart, making it their highest and most successful record to date. After the success of their first two records, Hawthorne Heights dropped several more highly regarded studio releases, including their latest album, If Only You Were Lonely XV, in 2013.
For their highly anticipated 20th anniversary trek, Hawthorne Heights brings a specially curated list of special guests. For starters, equally terrific bands Thursday and Anberlin also achieved incredible commercial successes. Thursday’s incredible work with their debut effort Full Collapse has brought some of the most beloved post-hardcore staples like “Understanding in a Car Crash” and “Standing on the Edge of Summer.” This 2024, the band recently came out with a new single, “Applicant for Release from The Dream,” which is rumored to be included in their forthcoming album.
Alternative rock powerhouse Anberlin will demonstrate their incredible high-energy set. Last year, the band came out with their previous EP, Convinced, which features the single “Lacerate.” Emerging in the early 2000s, Anberlin’s adrenaline-rushing staples include classics such as “Feel Good Drag,” “Paperthin Hymn,” “Enjoy the Silence,” “Godspeed,” and more.
Aside from Anberlin and Thursday, fans can also look forward to outstanding performances from Armor For Sleep, Stick To Your Guns, and This Wild Life! It’s a guaranteed headbang-worthy showdown, and it would be a shame to miss this one!
