For his legion of fans around the world, this is what life is made of: wonderful days, great memories, and Darius Rucker.
The three-time Grammy Award-winner with the unmistakable voice that formed the cornerstone of the 1990s on music radio and playlists everywhere has just announced a massive 20-city summer tour that will see him performing all the fan-favorites, hits, deep cuts, and Hootie & The Blowfish classics to audiences across the nation. The Songs Of Summer Tour 2026 is slated to kick off in early June 2026 in Toledo, Ohio, with summer night stops in Canandaigua, Gilford, Wilmington, Clarkston, Boston, Albuquerque, and Morrison, among others, on the itinerary before wrapping up in early August 2026 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
One thing that can be said about Darius Rucker, is that he came, he sang, and he conquered the world - firstly as the iconic frontman and rhythm guitarist of the legendary American rock band Hootie & The Blowfish, who gained massive success in the 1990s through early noughties with smash-hit singles such as Only Wanna Be With You, Let Her Cry, Hold My Hand, Time, and I Go Blind; and secondly, as the hugely successful solo artist that quite literally became History In The Making. Darius Rucker is the first black American to receive the Country Music Association’s New Artist Award, and his version of Bob Dylan and Ketch Secor of Old Crow Medicine Show’s hit Wagon Wheel is ranked 17th on Taste of Country’s list of Top Country Songs of the Century.
Darius Rucker will be joined at the Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion by up-and-coming country stars Evan Honer, best known for hits such as Jersey Giant and Take Me As I Come, and Austin Williams, the singer-songwriter behind songs such as Wanna Be Saved and Stuck On Me.
