The All American Reject’s highly-anticipated Wet Hot All-American Summer Tour comes after the band completed an extended road trip with emo band Dashboard Confessional in 2017. In the early 2000s, the band made waves with several hits, suchas “Swing Swing,” “The Last Song,” and “Time Stands Still.” These songs were spawned by their debut self-titled debut album, which peaked at number 25 on the Billboard 200. The record, released through Dreamworks Records, sold over one million copies in the U.S., securing the band their first platinum certification.
In 2005, they signed with Interscope Records and released their best-selling studio album, Move Along. The record peaked at number 6 on the Billboard 200 and entered two other U.S. charts. The album notably featured several hit singles, including the platinum-selling “Dirty Little Secret,” “Move Along,” and “It Ends Tonight.” All these releases entered the Top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100, with “It Ends Tonight” peaking at number 8.
Three years later, The All American Rejects released their highest charting single on the Billboard Hot 100. “Gives You Hell” peaked at number 4 on the chart, as well as topping the Adult Top 40 and the Mainstream Top 40. Apart from the U.S., the song also charted in 14 other countries, making it one of the band’s biggest international hits.
Critically-acclaimed rock band New Found Glory is one of the most influential groups to come out of the second wave of pop punk. The Florida-born quartet has belted our several hits during the early 2000s, such as “My Friends Over You,” “All Downhill from Here,” “Head on Collision,” “Hit or Miss,” and “Kiss Me.” in 2015, the band released a single, “Vicious Love” which also featured Paramore frontwoman, Hayley Williams. This 2023, New Found Glory released their latest effort, Make the Most of It, which spawned singles “Dream Born Again” and “Get Me Home.”
The All-American Rejects and The Get Up Kids will also join New Found Glory. The Kansas-born quartet made their breakthrough in 2002 upon releasing their third effort, On a Wire.
