Walmart AMP
The Black Crowes and Whiskey Myers are embarking on their co-headlining Southern Hospitality Tour. The road trip has a stop inside the Walmart Amp in Rogers on Tuesday, May 19th. That day of the week is the only bad news that you're going to have to endure on this page. The fact that two powerhouses of the country rock scene are joining forces should be more than enough excuse to call in sick to work on Wednesday.
If these two are not enough, keep in mind that Southall is being tapped to open the night. From doors to curtains, this promises to be a heck of an evening. One that can be best enjoyed with a few cold ones and some good company. If these lines spoke to you in any way, then be sure to click the "Buy Tickets" link soon. The spots inside the Walmart Amp will likely sell out before you know it.
The Black Crowes are coming into this performance with a new album titled "A Pound of Feathers." From the looks of things (the album hadn't dropped at the time of writing), the Crowes are embracing that dark side again. With song names like Profane Prophecy and Blood Red Regrets on the album's list, you can't come to any other conclusion. It's going to be interesting to see if they lean heavily on that dark side for visuals and different elements throughout this live show.
Whiskey Myers beat The Black Crowes to the punch with the new album before the tour. The band released Whoomp Whack Thunder in 2025. Right now, you can listen to all of those tracks to make sure that you're ready to go on May 19th. Everyone knows that the last thing that you want to do is come to a concert and not know the songs! That's like not wearing pink on Wednesdays at the Mean Girls High. In any case, not to be outdone, The Black Crowes are coming in with a new album titled "A Pound of Feathers" to spice up the road trip. It's looking dark and gloomy. Just so you know, the Crowes aren't just about those 80s vibes; they can still sing with the best of them!
What type of concert experience are you looking to have? The Walmart AMP has something for everyone. The front of the venue offers the traditional rock concert experience close to the performance. Then you've got a chance to find a seat with an elevated view to have a full scope of everything that's going on. If you're looking for a good deal, the lawn's where you need to be!
Right now, you can find tickets for only $68. That's not a bad deal when you take into account the amount of time that you're likely going to be spending inside this venue, plus the quality of the music. Hit the "Buy Tickets" link to grab your spots.
